The trip takes you into the untouched beauty of the mountains of western Quảng Bình. Starting from Long Đại ferry landing – a historic site bound up with the war years – you begin the journey into Chà Lòi Cave with hands-on experiences: walking, crawling, climbing and swimming.
The journey continues with a night in nature at Còi Đá village, exploring the Valley of Love, bathing in the stream, enjoying a BBQ and joining a campfire. On day two you go on to conquer Kiều Cave, admire striking stalactites, trek along Khe Nước Lạnh and relax in the fresh water of the stream.

DAY 01: LONG ĐẠI FERRY LANDING – CHÀ LÒI CAVE – CÒI ĐÁ VILLAGE
Morning
08:00: The vehicle and guide pick you up at your hotel in Đồng Hới/Phong Nha. The group sets off on the journey.
=> Visit the Long Đại ferry landing – Once a target of heavy bombing during the war years of 1965 – 1972.
=> You will hear about the Long Đại ferry landing and have free time to take photos before continuing.
09:30:
=> The group reaches the operations centre at Cây Sung village, where you are equipped with torches, footwear, specialist gloves and the other gear needed for the cave journey.
=> The guide explains how to use the equipment and the safety rules and helps you prepare what you need before setting out.
=> Explore the Water Cave (Ông Giáp Cave) as the local people call it.
=> Visit the A72 Communications Hub historic site – Once responsible for keeping communications running to the southern battlefield in wartime.
=> Chà Lòi Cave – A journey of more than 4km inside the cave with plenty of hands-on activity: walking, crawling, climbing and swimming.
=> Admire the magnificent stalactite formations, take photos freely and explore the beautiful Tunnel of Love.
Midday
13:00: You come back out of the cave and have lunch with local dishes,
then relax and rest on the spot.
Afternoon
15:00: The group sets off for Còi Đá village – home of the Valley of Love of the Bru Vân Kiều people.
=> You explore the natural surroundings and experience village life.
16:00:
=> You pitch tents, rest and bathe in the stream.
=> Dinner is a BBQ.
=> In the evening join the campfire and group games with your guide.
DAY 02: KIỀU CAVE – KHE NƯỚC LẠNH
Morning
08:00: After breakfast you learn about the culture and livelihoods of the people of Còi Đá village.
09:00:
=> The group sets off to explore Kiều Cave – a cave system newly opened to tourism, rated difficulty level 3.
=> Cross the sharp karst rocks, admire and take photos beside the beautiful stalactites inside the cave.
Midday
12:00: You have lunch and rest.
Afternoon
13:30:
=> You go trekking along Khe Nước Lạnh for around 2km.
=> Free time to bathe in the stream and relax in the fresh natural setting.
END OF TOUR
16:30: The vehicle picks the group up at Khe Nước Lạnh and takes you back. End of the tour programme!

MORNING
PICK-UP
08:00: The vehicle and guide pick you up at the meeting point or at hotels in Đồng Hới / Phong Nha. The group sets off on the journey.
=> Visit the Long Đại ferry landing – Once a target of heavy bombing during the war years of 1965 – 1972. Offer incense at the memorial to the fallen heroes and take photos at your leisure.
09:30:
=> The A72 Communications Hub historic site – Once responsible for keeping communications running to the southern battlefield in wartime.
=> Chà Lòi Cave – Explore the cave over a route of more than 5km, with plenty of activity: walking, crawling, climbing and swimming, admiring the magnificent stalactite formations,
=> The field stage used by soldiers during the Vietnam War and the beautiful Tunnel of Love.
MIDDAY
13:15: You come back out of the cave and have lunch with local dishes arranged by the company.
AFTERNOON
14:30:
=> After lunch the group sets off for Còi Đá village, strolling through the Valley of Love, enjoying the poetic natural setting with cool green meadows and the babbling of the stream.
=> Free time to bathe in the stream, take photos and relax in the fresh natural setting.
END OF TOUR
16:30: The vehicle and guide take you back to the original pick-up point. End of the programme!
Notes and restrictions:
- The programme is only for guests aged 10 and over and under 60.
- Guests showing signs of intoxication or under the influence of stimulants will not be served. In such cases no refund is given.
- The tour is not suitable for anyone with a history of heart disease or high blood pressure.
- Pets are not allowed.
