07:30 – Pickup in Dong Hoi

The vehicle and guide pick you up in downtown Dong Hoi. As you travel westward, you will be introduced to the legendary Truong Son route and the strategic role of “Road 20 – Quyet Thang (Victory)” in the resistance war against America.

09:00 – Pickup in Phong Nha and continue to Paradise Cave

Sovaba Travel's vehicle and guide pick you up at a hotel in the central Phong Nha area. Along the way, the guide shares fascinating stories about Quang Binh — dubbed the “Kingdom of Caves” and a cradle of outstanding cultural, historical and natural values.

09:30 – Visit Paradise Cave – the Underground Palace

Arriving at the Paradise Cave area, you take an electric buggy and begin conquering the 525 steps up to the cave entrance. Paradise Cave is dubbed the “Underground Palace”, with a magical system of stalactites and stalagmites shimmering under the golden lights.

You will admire:

Lotus-tower-shaped stalactites, silver stalactite waterfalls, and giant stone columns like a petrified forest.

13:00 – Visit Command Cave – A mark of the legendary Truong Son

The vehicle continues to Command Cave — a secret base deep in the forest that was once the center coordinating logistics, military supplies and strategy for the entire Truong Son route.

13:30 – Explore Route K & Command Cave

Cross trails under the primeval forest canopy to reach Route K, the secret transport road where every tree trunk and boulder was once a shelter from bombs and bullets.

Visit the transit stations, the weapons and road-building tool display, and vivid models re-creating battlefield life.

Enter Command Cave — with its command bunker system, medical station and supply depot deep underground, used by the Truong Son soldiers for many years.

Experience VR360 virtual reality on a military ZIL truck, simulating the feeling of crossing the “coordinates of fire” like a wartime soldier.

15:30 – Check-in & experience at The Duck Tang Farm

Leaving the Truong Son forest, the group arrives at The Duck Tang Farm — a well-known eco-farm in Phong Nha, where you can “slow down” amid the rustic countryside.

Fun experiences:

Ride buffalo, herd ducks, bathe in mud, catch fish — joyful rustic activities.

Feed ducks, grow vegetables, pick fruit, and feel the rhythm of country life with the locals.

16:30 – End of the journey, return to the original pickup point
