Overview

The Sơn Trà peninsula is a patch of green right beside central Da Nang. The mountain road follows the coast and opens up a new view at every bend.

Go365 takes you around Sơn Trà in a restored US Army jeep: up to the Bàn Cờ peak, past the old helipad and the Vọng Cảnh viewpoint house, then down to Linh Ứng pagoda and its statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

The trip lasts half a day and runs at 09:00 or 14:00. With a maximum of 3 guests per jeep you always have room to sit and a clear angle for photos.

Please note: this tour departs with a minimum of 2 guests.

Itinerary

09:00 / 14:00: A shuttle collects you at your hotel and drives you to the jeep park at the foot of Sơn Trà mountain. If you prefer, you can go there yourself and start the trip on the spot.

On the road: The jeep runs along the coast and up the peninsula, stopping at the finest viewpoints: the Bàn Cờ peak, the old helipad and the Vọng Cảnh house. Then down the mountain to Linh Ứng pagoda and the statue of the Goddess of Mercy.

End: The driver brings you back to your accommodation. End of the trip.

FAQ

How many guests fit in one jeep?
Three at most. For a larger party Go365 adds jeeps travelling together.
Can children join?
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Elderly guests should travel with a companion.
Anything to know before entering Linh Ứng pagoda?
It is a place of worship, so cover your shoulders and knees. There is no entrance fee.
What should I bring?
A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, trainers or sandals, and a camera or phone.
How is the Hoi An pickup different?
The drive is longer, so the Hoi An package costs more and takes more time on the road.
