7h30: The coach picks up the group at the meeting point and heads to the Coconut Forest located in Van Lang hamlet, Cam Thanh commune, Hoi An City.

9h00: The on-site guide welcomes the group at the Bay Mau Coconut Forest tourist area and begins the tour of the Bay Mau Coconut Forest – Hoi An. Here you will sightsee and admire the watery countryside scenery and join entertainment activities together with the local fishermen

FAQ

How far is the Bảy Mẫu coconut forest from Hội An and Đà Nẵng?
About 5 km from Hội An old town and about 30 km from central Đà Nẵng. From Đà Nẵng it is roughly 45 to 60 minutes each way.
Is the basket boat safe for small children?
Each basket boat has its own rower and moves slowly through shallow channels. Children can join, though it is best to avoid the middle of the day when the sun is harsh and there is no shade.
Is morning or afternoon better?
Early morning and late afternoon are both pleasant — soft light, calm water and better photos. Few people choose midday because of the heat.
Will our clothes get wet?
The basket boat sits low on the water, so a splash or two is likely. Wear light clothes and secured sandals, and put your phone in a waterproof pouch if you plan to film.
Can we go during the rainy season?
Yes. From October to December the water can be murkier, but the coconut channels operate as usual.
What can we combine it with in the same day?
The coconut forest sits on the road from Hội An out to An Bàng and Cửa Đại beaches, so many guests take the basket boat in the morning, swim in the afternoon and walk the lantern-lit old town in the evening.
