Da Nang International Airport sits inside the city, about 3 km from the centre, so most Central Vietnam itineraries start here. From a Da Nang hotel it is roughly 30 km to Hoi An (about 45 minutes), about 35 km up to Ba Na Hills (about an hour) and about 100 km to Hue. - Half a day around Da Nang — the Marble Mountains (about 8 km) combined with Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra peninsula (about 10 km), and the InterContinental if you wish.
- A day at My Son — the Cham sanctuary about 70 km from Da Nang, usually combined with Hoi An on the way back.
- Over to Hue — round trip in a day or one-way; the Hai Van tunnel is faster, while the Hai Van Pass road lets you stop for the view over Lang Co bay (surcharge applies).
- Airport transfers — Da Nang airport to a city-centre hotel, charged per trip.
