How to get from Hồ Tràm to Sài Gòn?

The distance from Hồ Tràm to TP.HCM is about 125 km, taking 2.5–3 hours along the coastal road to National Highway 51 and then onto the Long Thành – Dầu Giây expressway. For the return trip, you need to book a car in advance as there are no empty vehicles returning from the resort area.

Sunday afternoons from 15:00 to 19:00 are when the flow of vehicles from Vũng Tàu – Hồ Tràm heading back to Sài Gòn is heaviest; the stretch along National Highway 51 and the Long Thành interchange may be delayed by an additional 45–60 minutes. If you have an evening flight at Tân Sơn Nhất, you should return before 14:00 or after 20:00.
