The Nam Cat Tien National Park Trekking & Cycling Tour immerses you in wild nature and the rich flora and fauna of one of Vietnam’s largest national parks.

The programme includes trekking through the forest and cycling in the fresh air — a relaxing “healing” experience in the green woodland.

3:30 AM: Point 1 – Below the An Suong intersection roundabout, District 12, heading towards Thu Duc

3:50 AM: Point 2 – 353 Nguyen Trong Tuyen, Ward 1, Tan Binh District (in front of Le Van Sy Primary School)

4:20 AM: Point 3 – Comeco Gas Station 3 Dien Bien Phu Street, Hang Xanh intersection heading towards Van Thanh bridge)


Tour itinerary:

---Ho Chi Minh City - Journey to Nam Cat Tien---

Morning: 4:00 AM: Depart from Ho Chi Minh City → The vehicle departs for Cat Tien National Park. The group rests on the bus

 (Due to the weekly tour nature and the vehicle being used for guests to rest, the tour usually does not have a guide accompanying the group from Ho Chi Minh City the guide will welcome the group at Nam Cat Tien)

7:30 AM: Arrive at Nam Cat Tien, the guide welcomes the group 

The group warms up and gets ready. The guide sprays leech repellent for guests, shares some travel notes and basic information about Nam Cat Tien National Park.

Guests choose their favorite bicycle, then begin the Cycling journey through Nam Cat Tien forest, the group explores:

Botanical Garden: one of Vietnam's “heritage trees,” over 700 years old

Bac Dong Go Tree: a rare, towering ancient tree 700 years old

Loc Giao Banyan Tree: a natural wonder, where 6 ancient tree trunks merge into one unified body

After completing the remarkable trekking route, guests return for lunch.

Noon: 11:30 AM: The group freely enjoys local specialty cuisine at a restaurant/favorite dishes… (set rice meals, bread, boiled eggs, snacks,…) — at own expense

Support is available to book a lunch set menu (4-6 dish menu) at the restaurant, costing from 110,000 VND – 160,000 VND/guest. – (Applies from 5 guests)

2:00 PM: Guests experience the trekking journey through Nam Cat Tien forest, beginning to explore a series of legendary trees:

Ancient Tung Tree: 400 years old

400-year-old Cycad Tree: a historical witness

5-top Crepe Myrtle: with a single trunk rising magnificently.

Strangler Fig:  also known by another name, “tree ghost”

Afternoon: 4:00 PM: The 1-day Nam Cat Tien National Park exploration journey ends, the group departs back to Ho Chi Minh City 

Expected 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM: the group arrives in Ho Chi Minh City  say goodbye and see you again in the next programs.

Outside this area a surcharge may apply, or guests may need to make their own way to the meeting point. ⏰ 2. Pick-up time Please be ready 10–15 minutes in advance. The vehicle waits no longer than 10–15 minutes past the agreed time. 📌 3. Pick-up point Pick-up at the hotel lobby or the confirmed meeting point. If the vehicle cannot access the location, guests are kindly asked to walk to the nearest point as directed. 🏁 4. Drop-off Drop-off at the original pick-up point within the city centre area. FAQ

Where and when is pickup?
Three points in Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh — 3:30 at the An Sương roundabout in District 12 heading towards Thủ Đức, 3:50 at 353 Nguyễn Trọng Tuyển in Tân Bình district, and 4:20 at the Comeco petrol station on Điện Biên Phủ near Hàng Xanh. The coach leaves at 4:00.
What time do we reach Nam Cát Tiên?
Around 7:30, where the guide meets the group at the national park.
Does a guide travel with us from Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh?
Usually not. Because the tour runs weekly and guests rest on the coach, the guide joins the group at Nam Cát Tiên itself.
Are there leeches in the forest?
The guide sprays guests with leech repellent and runs through the safety briefing before you enter the forest.
What do we do in the forest?
Cycle through it, trek, and visit the botanical garden with its heritage tree over 700 years old.
What about meals?
Guests arrange breakfast and lunch themselves, eating local food as they prefer. Neither meal is in the tour price.
What does the tour price include?
