VISIT TAN LAP FLOATING VILLAGE - PHUOC LOC THO ANCIENT HOUSE - VIEW THE CAMBODIA BORDER

MORNING

06:00: Depart from 156 Le Lai, District 1. The vehicle sets off on the Mekong Delta tour; along the way you have breakfast at a restaurant (included), then continue toward Moc Hoa, Long An via Provincial Road 10, heading to Tan Lap Floating Village.

You will have the chance to admire the rustic beauty of Tan Thanh, Moc Hoa, from fields of pineapple and custard apple to honey-bee farms.

08:30: Arriving at Tan Lap Floating Village, the group gathers to board a boat and admire the river ecosystem and flooded melaleuca forest.

You walk along a paved path winding through the melaleuca forest and take your most beautiful photos.

Next, you climb the observation tower over 30 m high to admire the panorama of the melaleuca forest.

Especially, you will enjoy a relaxing, delightful feeling as you sit on the boat cruising around the forest.

NOON

11:30: The group gathers together to enjoy a lunch of specialties from the Plain of Reeds (Dong Thap Muoi).

Afterwards, free time to rest, enjoy the fresh air and take in the panorama of the Plain of Reeds, Binh Hiep Border Gate and the Vietnam–Cambodia border region from the observation tower.

AFTERNOON

13:00: The boat takes the group back to the mainland, then board the vehicle to depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

On the way back, stop to rest and visit Phuoc Loc Tho Ancient Village in Duc Hoa:

Here, visitors will see rare, precious antiques from the feudal era to the French colonial period, such as:

• Exquisitely carved bas-reliefs
• A set of mother-of-pearl-inlaid daybeds, gilded and red-lacquered down to the finest detail
• Antique clocks, cameras, radios and music players seen only in historical films

Visitors will feel as if they have stepped into the past, taking photos amid charming scenery like a Chinese period drama.

18:00: The group arrives back in Ho Chi Minh City, ending the 1-day Mekong Delta tour to Tan Lap Floating Village.
