The Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho Tour combines sightseeing in Saigon with a taste of the Mekong Delta in one journey.

Itinerary

08:00: Vehicle and guide pick up guests in District 1. Depart for a sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City.

08:30: Visit the Independence Palace – a landmark steeped in Vietnamese history. Explore the exhibition halls, the presidential office, and historical artifacts.

09:45: Continue to Thien Hau Temple – a sacred ancient temple of the Chinese community in Saigon, renowned for its distinctive traditional Chinese architecture.

10:30: Stroll through Chinatown (Cho Lon) – Binh Tay Market, and discover the vibrant cultural life and bustling trade of the local Chinese community.

11:00: Depart for My Tho – the gateway to the Mekong Delta.

11:30 - 12:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

13:00: Arrive at My Tho Pier and board a boat to Lan Islet on the Tien River.

13:30: Visit a bee farm, taste honey tea, and learn about traditional beekeeping practices.

14:00: Experience rowing a traditional sampan through narrow canals shaded by water coconut palms – a signature scene of the Mekong Delta.

14:30: Tour a traditional Ben Tre coconut candy workshop, learn about the production process, and sample local specialties.

15:00: Enjoy seasonal tropical fruits and a live Southern Vietnamese folk music performance (Don Ca Tai Tu).

15:15: Take a horse-drawn carriage or tuk-tuk ride around Quoi Son village, admiring fruit orchards and the simple daily life of local residents.

15:30: Board the boat back to My Tho Pier.

16:00: Depart back to Ho Chi Minh City.

17:30 - 18:00: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Tour ends.

✈️ Airport pick-up / drop-off policy: We track flight times so we can assist when a flight is delayed. Free waiting time: Domestic: 60 minutes. International: 90 minutes. Beyond the free waiting time, waiting fees apply as per our rules.

👶 Child policy 0–1 m: Free of charge (no separate seat). 1 m – 1 m 3: 75% of the adult price. From 1 m 3: Charged as an adult.

Outside this area a surcharge may apply, or guests may need to make their own way to the meeting point. ⏰ 2. Pick-up time Please be ready 10–15 minutes in advance. The vehicle waits no longer than 10–15 minutes past the agreed time. 📌 3. Pick-up point Pick-up at the hotel lobby or the confirmed meeting point. If the vehicle cannot access the location, guests are kindly asked to walk to the nearest point as directed. 🏁 4. Drop-off Drop-off at the original pick-up point within the city centre area. A surcharge may apply for drop-off at a different location. ⚠️ 5. Important notes Arriving late or failing to show up is treated as a No Show and is non-refundable. Timings may change due to traffic, weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
