Hạ Long Bay is a world-famous heritage site, but the most beautiful and tranquil part of the bay lies on the Cát Bà side. This largest island in the Bắc Bộ Gulf features limestone mountains, primary forests, and beaches – and is much less crowded than the traditional Hạ Long boat route.
The 2-day program takes you kayaking in Lan Hạ bay among hundreds of limestone islets and floating fishing villages, followed the next day by a trek through Cát Bà National Park – a world biosphere reserve and home to the Cát Bà langur, with only about 60 individuals remaining.

2-DAY 1-NIGHT CÁT BÀ ISLAND TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: HÀ NỘI – HẢI PHÒNG – CÁT BÀ ISLAND
- Pick up guests at hotels in Hà Nội, depart for Hải Phòng.
- Board the boat to Cát Bà island, enjoy lunch on board in the bay.
- Kayak to explore Lan Hạ bay, visit the floating fishing village, and swim in a secluded cove.
- Check in to the hotel on the island, with free time in the evening to stroll around Cát Bà town.
DAY 2: CÁT BÀ ISLAND – NATIONAL PARK – HÀ NỘI
- Have breakfast, depart for Cát Bà National Park.
- Trek through the primary forest, climb to Ngự Lâm peak to enjoy a panoramic view of the island.
- Have lunch, check out, and board the boat back to the mainland.
- The bus takes guests back to Hà Nội, ending the tour.
