- Transport: High-quality car + motorbike
- Departure: Daily
- Duration: 2 days 1 night
ITINERARY 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT
DAY 1: Hà Nội – Hà Giang City – Núi Thủng cave
06:00 The vehicle and guide pick the group up in Hà Nội, breakfast
The group arrives at our operations office in Hà Giang City and heads to a restaurant for lunch
Afternoon: the guide briefs the group on the itinerary, then you ride about 21km by motorbike to the campsite. At the foot of the slope you walk along the mountainside and through a rock hole to reach the cave; the path is fairly rough, but the scenery here more than makes up for it.
On arrival at the campsite you are free to explore the surrounding nature. The crew will pitch the tents and prepare dinner.
Evening: dinner, songs and games, then rest at the camp. End of day 1.
DAY 2: Núi Thủng cave – Hà Giang City – Hà Nội
07:00 – 07:30 wake up, freshen up and have breakfast (instant noodles + eggs)
You then explore Núi Thủng cave – a pierced limestone cave in Mường hamlet, Bạch Ngọc commune, Vị Xuyên district, Hà Giang province, also known as Đán Pioóng. In 2014 it was recognised as a national heritage site for its great geological and geographical value. The system holds two caves branching into four passages. Exploring it all takes 5 – 6 hours: inside are countless nooks and interlacing stalactites that form a shimmering, mysterious and utterly beautiful picture. Once inside, you will not want to leave.
After exploring Núi Thủng cave you return to the camp for lunch.
You then head back to our operations office in Hà Giang City to shower, rest and have dinner.
After dinner the vehicle and guide take the group back to Hà Nội
The guide and driver say goodbye, ending the 2-day 1-night camping trip.
Goodbye! Thank you and farewell.
Option 2: the group travels independently by sleeper coach
The night before, you travel by sleeper coach to our operations office in Hà Giang City. The coach arrives at around 03:00, where the guide meets the group and arranges rooms for you to rest.
