Daytime or overnight?
Buses run on this route through most of the day, in three distinct bands.
- Morning and midday (09:00 – 14:00): you reach Nha Trang in the early evening, in time for dinner and check-in. This is also the only band that gets you past the Phan Thiết – Cà Ná coast in daylight.
- Afternoon (17:00): arrival around midnight. Good if your day only frees up late, but tell your hotel to expect a late check-in.
- Overnight (22:15 – 23:30): you arrive at dawn and save a night of accommodation. Most Nha Trang hotels check in from 14:00, so ask about early check-in or luggage storage first.

What to know about the Bus Sài Gòn → Nha Trang route
- The 430km run passes Phan Thiết and Cà Ná, with a genuinely good coastal stretch in the afternoon. Travelling by day, ask for an upper berth by the window.
- The bus stops once or twice en route. Bring a light jacket — sleeper buses run the air conditioning cold overnight.
