The most comprehensive highland photography route in the North, covering all four terraced field and rocky plateau regions: Mù Cang Chải, Sa Pa, Hà Giang, and Cao Bằng.
Mù Cang Chải features đồi mâm xôi and the terraced fields in La Pán Tẩn and Chế Cu Nha – most beautiful during the flooding season in May–June and the ripe rice season in September–October. Hà Giang boasts Mã Pì Lèng Pass and the Tu Sản canyon on the Nho Quế river. Cao Bằng is home to Bản Giốc Waterfall.

DAY 2: HÀ NỘI
- Photograph the Old Quarter early in the morning and Long Biên market.
- Late afternoon photography at Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Long Biên Bridge.
DAY 3: HÀ NỘI – URBAN LIFE
- Photograph the train street, old apartment complexes, and suburban craft villages.
DAY 4: HÀ NỘI – MÙ CANG CHẢI
- Drive to Mù Cang Chải, stop to photograph Khau Phạ Pass.
- Late afternoon photography at La Pán Tẩn terraced fields.
DAY 5: MÙ CANG CHẢI
- Sunrise at Mâm Xôi hill.
- Afternoon photography in Chế Cu Nha and H’Mong villages.

- Head to Quản Bạ, photograph Heaven's Gate and Núi Đôi.
- Afternoon photography of H’Mong villages and terraced fields.
DAY 10: QUẢN BẠ – MÈO VẠC
- Pass through Yên Minh, Đồng Văn to Mèo Vạc.
- Photograph the Vương family mansion, Lũng Cú flag tower, and Đồng Văn Old Quarter.
DAY 11: MÈO VẠC – MÃ PÌ LÈNG
- Sunrise at Mã Pì Lèng Pass.
- Boat trip on the Nho Quế River through Tu Sản Canyon.
- Afternoon photography at the local market if it falls on market day.
DAY 12: MÈO VẠC – BẢO LẠC – CAO BẰNG
- Drive to Cao Bằng via Bảo Lạc.
- Stop to photograph Black Lô Lô villages along the way.
DAY 13: CAO BẰNG – BẢN GIỐC
- Visit Bản Giốc Waterfall, photograph from multiple angles, and take a bamboo raft to the base of the waterfall.
- Afternoon photography at Phật Tích Trúc Lâm Pagoda.
DAY 14: CAO BẰNG – NGƯỜM NGAO – HÀ NỘI
- Morning photography at Ngườm Ngao Cave and Thang Hen Lake.
- Afternoon drive back to Hà Nội.
DAY 15: HÀ NỘI – AIRPORT TRANSFER
- Breakfast, check-out.
- Transfer to Nội Bài airport.
