A rare thematic tour: visiting three Indochinese countries along the theme of traditional weaving and dyeing crafts. Each region boasts its own technique, its own type of fiber, and its own unique pattern system.
In Sa Pa, guests stay with H’Mông families to learn indigo dyeing and hemp weaving – from stripping fibers to spinning, weaving, and beeswax drawing. In Luang Prabang, it is Lao silk featuring ikat techniques and raised pattern weaving. In Siem Reap, it is the Golden Silk farm, where the nearly extinct Khmer golden silkworm breed has been restored.
This program is designed for designers, textile collectors, and travelers who wish to bring home authentic handicrafts rather than mass-market souvenirs.

13-DAY 12-NIGHT INDOCHINA TEXTILE TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HÀ NỘI
- Pickup at Nội Bài airport, check-in at Hà Nội hotel.
DAY 2: HÀ NỘI – SILK VILLAGE
- Visit Vạn Phúc silk village and Quất Động embroidery village.
- In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology and view the costume collection of the 54 ethnic groups.
DAY 3: HÀ NỘI – SA PA
- Drive to Sa Pa, check-in.
- In the afternoon, stroll through Sa Pa market and observe the costumes of various ethnic groups.
DAY 4: SA PA – INDIGO DYEING WITH THE H’MÔNG
- Full day at a H’Mông family's home: stripping flax fibers, spinning thread, applying beeswax, and indigo dyeing.
- Enjoy lunch with the family.
DAY 5: SA PA – HÀ NỘI
- In the morning, visit a Red Dao village and observe their brocade embroidery craft.
- In the afternoon, drive back to Hà Nội.
DAY 6: HÀ NỘI – HẠ LONG BAY
- Drive to Hạ Long bay, board the cruise.
- Kayaking, enjoy dinner on board. Overnight on the bay.
DAY 7: HẠ LONG – HÀ NỘI – LUANG PRABANG
- Brunch on board, return to Hà Nội.
- Fly to Luang Prabang, check-in.
DAY 8: LUANG PRABANG
- Attend the Tak Bat alms-giving ceremony.
- Visit Xieng Thong pagoda and the Royal Palace Museum.
- In the afternoon, visit Ban Xang Khong weaving village.
DAY 9: LAOTIAN HIGHLAND CRAFTS
- Visit Khmu and Tai Lue villages to learn about the patterns of each group.
- Learn the ikat technique – tie-dyeing threads before weaving.
DAY 10: LUANG PRABANG – SIEM REAP
- Fly to Siem Reap, check-in.
- In the afternoon, stroll through the Old Market to see Khmer textiles.
DAY 11: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR
- Visit Angkor Wat, read the costume patterns on the Apsara dancer bas-reliefs.
- In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom and Bayon.
DAY 12: GOLDEN SILK FARM
- Full day at the Golden Silk farm: growing mulberry, raising golden silkworms, reeling silk, and weaving.
- Free afternoon for shopping.
DAY 13: SIEM REAP – AIRPORT TRANSFER
- Breakfast, check-out.
- Transfer to Siem Reap airport.
