Children are welcome with an adult keeping close watch: it is windy out there after dark, the boat rocks gently at anchor and the deck can be damp.
Which nights fish well
Squid come to the lamps best on calm seas with little moon. Under a bright moon, or right after a blow, they go deep and the fishing is markedly harder.
Said plainly so nobody is disappointed: some nights you land plenty, some nights almost nothing. The BBQ is served in full either way, so the evening does not hinge on the catch.
