The Can Gio Mangrove Forest Tour takes you to the famous mangrove biosphere reserve south of Ho Chi Minh City.

The journey includes the crocodile sanctuary, the Rung Sac Base, a trip out to the sea and a stop at the local seafood market — nature, history and coastal cuisine in one.

Itinerary

07:30: Gather at the Go365 Vietnam office (28/13 Bui Vien, District 1, HCMC) and depart for Can Gio.

09:15: Arrive at the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve and visit the Rung Sac war zone historical site.

09:30 - 11:30: Explore the main attractions:

Walk through the mangrove forest and breathe in the fresh air.
Visit Monkey Island, home to more than 1,000 monkeys living in the wild.
Stop by the Hoa Ca crocodile sanctuary.
Take a speedboat or walk into the Rung Sac revolutionary base.
Learn the history and see the reconstructed structures depicting the life and combat of the Rung Sac commando forces.

11:30: Depart for a local restaurant.

11:45 - 12:45: Have lunch and relax.

13:00: Continue on to Can Gio beach.

13:30 - 15:00: Free time to play, walk along the shore and enjoy the sea air of Can Gio.

15:00: Visit and shop at the local seafood market:

16:00: Gather at the bus and depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

17:30 - 18:30: Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City; the tour ends.
