Pickup service: hotels in District 1 (except Sai Gon and Tan Dinh wards). Guests outside District 1 please come to the meeting point (112 Tran Hung Dao, Ben Thanh ward) before 7:15.
Detailed itinerary:
07:30 – Pick-up at your hotel or the central meeting point.
09:00 – Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the 200+ km network of tunnels, along with stories of the life and fighting spirit of the Vietnamese people during the war.
11:00 – Depart for Ben Luc (Long An).
12:30 – Enjoy a hearty Mekong-style lunch at a riverside garden house.
13:30 – Begin the countryside exploration by tuk tuk:
- Visit a guava orchard and taste fruit in the garden.
- Stop at a coconut farm and learn about sustainable farming.
- Row a boat to explore the peaceful little canals.
- Try traditional water scooping and farming activities.
- Stroll through coconut gardens and lush green rice fields.
- Sip fresh coconut and relax in a hammock amid the peaceful countryside.
15:30 – Short rest at the garden house.
16:00 – Depart back to Ho Chi Minh City.
17:30 – 18:00 – Drop-off at your hotel or meeting point. End of the program.
