Overview
The Can Tho – Cu Chi one-day journey brings together the cultural charm of the Mekong Delta and a remarkable chapter of Vietnamese history. You will experience a unique floating market, taste local food and explore the famous tunnel system that recreates how our soldiers and civilians lived during the resistance war.

CAN THO – CU CHI 1 DAY ITINERARY
MORNING
– 05:00: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City for Can Tho
– 07:45 – 08:00: Arrive at Cai Rang floating market
- Visit the floating market and experience trading on the river
- Breakfast on the boat: hu tieu noodles and "ca phe kho" coffee
- Enjoy fresh fruit (pineapple)
– 09:00: Visit a rice noodle & rice paper workshop
- Learn about the production process
- hands-on experience of making the sheets
- Try the "hu tieu pizza"
– 10:00: Leave Can Tho and set off for Cu Chi
AFTERNOON
– 13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant and a rest before continuing the journey.
– 14:00: Set off to visit the Ben Dinh tunnels – a national historic site.
- Learn the history through the weapons on display and a documentary film
- Explore the remarkable tunnel system: traps, bomb craters, ventilation shafts
- Photos with the M41 tank, visit the ordnance workshop and the tyre-sandal making area
- Crawl through the tunnels and discover "life underground"
- Visit the Hoang Cam stove – an ingenious invention for hiding smoke
- Optional live shooting range experience (at your own expense)
- Taste cassava with salt – a wartime speciality
– 16:00: Leave Cu Chi and board the coach back to Ho Chi Minh City
– 17:30 – 18:30: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, end of the programme. See you again.
Lunch menu – Ben Dinh restaurant:
- Winter melon soup / pumpkin soup / mustard green soup with minced pork (varies by day)
- Spring rolls (prawn and pork / vegetable and mushroom)

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING THE CAN THO – CU CHI 1 DAY TOUR:
- If you do not want the meals: please tell us when booking so the cost can be deducted
- If you cancel a meal during the tour: the cost of that meal is not refunded
- If you are vegetarian or on a special diet: please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
- Please bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.
- Please wear shoes or sandals suitable for walking
- Please dress appropriately for the sites on the programme
