Pick-up time: 07:00 The vehicle and guide pick you up at the meeting point and depart for Chau Doc (An Giang).
09:30 Arrive in Chau Doc and visit the famous spiritual sites: Ba Chua Xu Temple at Sam Mountain, the Thoai Ngoc Hau Mausoleum and Tay An Ancient Pagoda.
10:30 Continue along the Vinh Te canal, crossing the That Son region with its well-known peaks such as Cam Mountain, Ket Mountain and Khmer pagodas of distinctive architecture, before reaching Tra Su Cajuput Forest.
11:00 Start exploring the flooded cajuput forest ecosystem of Tra Su. You travel by motorboat through cool green canals in the middle of the forest.
11:30 Switch to a traditional rowing boat and glide along waterways covered in the signature green duckweed. Breathe in the fresh air, watch the birds and take in the untouched beauty of the delta.
12:00 Lunch with local specialities at the Tra Su restaurant.
13:00 Continue exploring the central area of Tra Su Cajuput Forest. You may:
- Climb the observation tower for a panorama of the forest from above.
- Stroll through cool green nature.
- Take photos on the bridge across the cajuput forest and at the unique features.
- Visit the stilt house in the middle of the forest and capture beautiful pictures.
15:00 The group boards the vehicle for the return to Can Tho.
18:00 Arrive in Can Tho; the vehicle takes you back to the original meeting point. End of the programme. The guide says goodbye and hopes to see you on future journeys.
