Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van Giang Ta Chai – Coc Ly Market – 3 days

Day 1: First night: Ha Noi - Lao Cai

20:00 pm You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Hanoi railway station to board the express train to Lao cai. Then you will stay overnight in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin (4 pax/cabin or 2 pax/cabin on request).

Day 2: (Sunday) Sapa - Lao Chai Village - Ta Van Village

6:00 am: You will be arriving at Laocai railway station and welcome by your local guide and driver. Transferring to your hotel in Sapa for breakfast and a shower. Leaving Sapa at 10 am by jeep to visit an H'mong village nestling in a beautiful valley and a hydroelectric power station built by the French. You will follow a small path to visit 2 other villages of the H'mong and the Dzay people (Lao Chai and Ta Van). Your picnic lunch en route. You will have dinner with a Dzay family and stay overnight in TaVan village. (5 hours trekking, 14 km, 3 villages).

Day 2 (cont.): (Monday) Ta Van Village - Giang Ta Chai Village - Sapa

You will have your breakfast at the homestay, then we will take you to the road to Giang Ta Chai village to see the Red Dzao people via a network of paths through terraces and bamboo forests. You will visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross Muong Hoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong. Then, you will return to Sapa by jeep. Visiting an ancient stone circle. You will check into hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant. Staying overnight at your chosen hotel in Sapa. (5 hours trekking, 4 km, 2 villages)

Day 3: (Tuesday) Sapa - Coc Ly Market - Boat Trip on Chay River

Your breakfast is at the hotel. You will depart at 7 am for CocLy market which is situated far from Sapa. Experience the peaceful life of the different ethnic tribes (Flower H'mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay). The market gives them the chance to meet and share their joys and sorrows after the harvest. Bid farewell to the market and take an exhilarating boat trip along the Chay River, where you are bound to feel a sense of your own minuteness against the majestic backdrop of the high Rock Mountains and to be stunned by the breathtaking waterfalls. You will visit Trung Do village of the Tay Minority. After the boat trip, we will take you to a small town called BaoNhai, then return by jeep to Laocai station to board the night train to Hanoi.
